Coyote's Mate (Breeds Series) Review

Coyote's Mate - Lora Leigh

For six years Anya Korbin worked with Del-Rey Delgato--the genetically altered rebel known as the Coyote Ghost--to free a group of coyote women kept in her father's lab. As Anya matured into a woman, she and Del-Rey grew close…, but then he broke his promise and killed her father. Now she must deal with her animalistic desire for the one who betrayed her.

Review

This is my favorite book of the Breeds series. The world here is complete and the external and internal pressures on the couple compelling.

Del-Rey is a sly powerful alpha. He is a great character we have had peeks at in other books.

The coyotes are the underdogs of the Breeds so we have a little bit of villain into hero here as well. The heroine is wonderful. The loved forever theme mixed with the idea of a betrayal that makes Del Rey a person rather than an idea plays out well.

The fated mate and the mating heat up the passion in the the book and make the love the comes with the physical compulsion all the sweeter.

This book made my Goodreads lists for Best Fated Mate Romance: Your Love was meant to beCanine Shifters in Romance other than Wolves, and Girlie Girls: Romance Heroines who love fashion and may be just a little High Maintenance
